Born and raised in western Kansas and still reside there today.  Humble Christian and husband to my beautiful wife (Kendra), who is also an avid bowhunter and camera-person.  Father to two boys (Hunter age 6 and Archer age 4).  I’m an Operations Leader for a natural gas pipeline company.  I have a passion for the outdoors, especially archery hunting.  I’ve been hunting for about 25 years and filming for about 8 years and am thankful for each day I get to spend out in God’s creation.

For the past three years we have been fortunate to be able to self-film and travel different parts of the country and world hunting as a couple. Not only do we have an appreciation and passion for capturing God’s beauty in the outdoors, but also enjoy the thrill of creating tactics and strategies to better understand our animal’s nature and way of thinking.  We strive to always support and teach one another new things and ideas and find it fulfilling that we are able to capture specific moments that later create a whole adventure that we can share with our family and friends for years to come.

I have loved and respected hunting since the first time my grandfather took me and my twin brother(Thomas) out to our first moose hunt at the age of 5, then only as spectators. Today, 23 years later, i have my own small land in the middle of Norway that i share with my beloved girlfriend(Gina) and our two English setters, Ace and Jack. As hunters we get unique interaction with nature, and i am grateful to have the opportunity to experience nature's gifts. I cant put my finger on a defined favorite species to hunt, my heart and my adrenaline pumps no matter what game i have in my sight. I have filmed for several  years, mainly for my own development, but now i'm glad and humble that i now get the opportunity to share my experiences to a larger audience.

I am a New York City Detective for over 30 yrs but I also find solice in the Outdoors. I have two wonderful children Ted 25 and Gina 23 both college graduates. Bowhunting runs through my veins and there's nothing like it in the world. I was born in Brooklyn, NY a far cry from the wilderness of Dennysville, Maine or Quebec, Canada. My 30 plus yrs of hunting has given me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and visit some great new places I would've never gone if I didn't hunt. I started filming my hunts about 5 yrs ago because I wanted people to experience the same adrenaline rush and excitement that I experience. Join my Journey and enjoy the ride.

Growing up near Green Bay, Wisconsin, hunting and fishing were a pretty common part of the landscape in adolescence.  However, after 6 years in the Marines, hunting filled a void for adventure that post-service life had created and also helped me deal with life after experiencing combat.  Four years ago I quit my regular job to pursue a career in the hunting industry via film and photography and have never looked back.  The opportunities I have been blessed with have taken me all over the country and the world pursuing everything from big game to waterfowl, the later being my first love.  The vast network of people encountered has allowed me to create a multitude of opportunities for other vets to use the outdoors to treat combat related stress and heal with nature.  My journey has brought me full circle to realize that the time spent in the wild afield or afloat and the relationships built sharing a mutual passion are worth more than any trophy.   I can not wait to share my story, travels, and hunts with you all.

Location

I was born and raised in Central Wisconsin.  At a young age, my father introduced me to hunting and fishing and my mother taught me to love and respect the outdoors. My work as a Sr. Design Engineer has brought me to Minnesota, where I live with my lovely wife Kristin. I attribute many of my successful trips to my engineering mindset. Everything I do is methodically planned out and logged in lists and spreadsheets, as I believe there is no excuse for being unprepared. Hunting and fishing is not a hobby for me, it is a way of life that I truly cannot imagine living without. I also love cooking, especially wild game. I believe you should put just as much effort and care into preparing the meat as you did harvesting the animal. I have been self-filming and editing my hunts for 3 years now and cannot wait to be part of the Sons of Fall team.  The opportunity is a dream come true!
