I was born and raised on a 100-acre farm that my grandfather bought after he got home from WW2.  It was there where I grew up running through the woods before I was old enough to hunt.  I could always remember my dad , uncles, and older cousins deer hunting every November and seeing all of the deer that was shot hanging in our barn.  Seeing all the deer, hearing the stories, and helping skin the deer gave me a deep love and passion for deer hunting long before I was allowed to actually go into the woods with a gun.  I killed my first deer (a button buck) with my dad when I was 13, and then my dad allowed me to go the following year alone and I harvested my first deer alone, and that drove this passion deeper and deeper inside me.  Over 20 years later and I still remember both of those hunts like they happened yesterday.  To this day I still chase deer on that farm among other farms that I’ve gained access too.  I’ve learned from an early age that it’s not about the kill but the chase, and that is what keeps me coming back to the woods every September!!

I was born and raised in Northeast Wisconsin where at the young age of 3 years old, my father started bringing me along to deer camp. To this day, that deer camp is still my favorite place on earth, and little did I know at the time, those experiences would create a path that I would follow for the rest of my life. Nowadays, I reside in Western Kentucky where there are plenty of Whitetail deer to go around. I own my own company, Whitetail Land Management Services, which allows me to travel the whitetail’s range to different property owners hunting tracts to help create habitat management programs. The ultimate goal of the company is to help property owners have more success on their own properties. Chasing down high pressured whitetails is my number one focus. For whatever reason it’s never been about taking the biggest deer, but more so challenging myself on public land parcels that I’ve never been to. I’ve always figured that if I can come out on top on public land where the playing field is equal, then I should be able to come out on top just about anywhere else.

I was introduced to hunting at the young age of 11 by my father, where we hunted the snowy tundra of Minnesota. I grew apart from hunting for a couple years and focused on school but came back to it when my mother passed away when I was fifteen. I used archery as an outlet and a way to help with a very depressing time in my life. The hunting community surrounded me with support and helped me harvest my first whitetail the same year with a bow! After school I found myself working as a Corrections Officer in the State of Minnesota and after a series of horrific incidents I took a leap of faith and quit my reliable good paying job at the Correctional Facility and moved to Colorado to live my dream as a professional photographer and chase bugling bulls, elusive mules and the ultimate predator, mountain lions after chasing whitetails in Wisconsin for 12 years. I find myself putting down the bow and picking up a camera most of the time because I enjoy filming others joy in hunting and sharing that feeling. Today I am the Co-Founder of True West Productions where our mission is to spread the word on how amazing the hunting community is and how they helped me through the hardest point in my life!

I started hunting small game and upland with my dad and friends in Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky at a young age. Originally from The Buckeye state I took to deer and turkey hunting and archery through Boy Scouts and loved it! Due to school, sports and other activities I grew away from hunting for a couple years but was reintroduced by my best friend and the next time I picked  up a bow, it ignited a passion that I've never had with any other aspect of my life. After that, bow hunting and archery have been a way of life for me. It has become my happy place, my escape from everyday life and just a passion unlike any other.  I harvested my first deer with black powder at age 9 and my first archery whitetail when I was 14 and it has been archery ever since. I have loved hunting, especially bow hunting and the challenges and the success of it all so much that in 2013 I started guiding whitetail and turkey hunts in the Midwest for The Wounded Warrior and Veterans Foundation and Make A Wish Foundation. Shortly after I graduated college, I went on to Big Game Guide School in Montana to enter a different realm of hunting that I had yet to experience. It was one of the best decisions of my life thus far. I've had the pleasure of guiding many big game species that most people only wish to hunt and I would have to say my favorite species that I’ve guided to date is the great American bison.  Today I have accomplished successful guiding in 4 states with many species in between. I moved to Colorado in mid 2018 for a job opportunity and I couldn't be happier with my choice to move to this amazing state with so many amazing views and of course big game species to chase! I have so far hunted in 15 different states and Canada and have lived in 7 states and only adding more! I am still a die hard bow hunter and I still love guiding and every aspect of it but I have decided to take some time off from guiding to concentrate not only on my own hunting career but to concentrate on the company, True West Productions that Brady Collins and I created. With 17+ years of hunting experience under my belt, almost 5 years of hunting guide experience, 5 years of professional film and photography experience as well as numerous companies that I have worked with in the hunting industry, I am ready for what's next on this amazing journey!  Ready for a lifetime filled with memories, amazing views and the great outdoors with a bow in hand!

Living in the most densely populated city in Ohio, Lakewood, I try as often as I can to leave the city and head out into the wilderness. I enjoy creating films and using photography to explain the natural world around us. Husband to my wife Katelin and father to one English chocolate lab, Otis. I am fascinated by the efforts to repopulate the Eastern United States with Rocky Mountain Elk and hope to one day see elk back in Ohio.

I was introduced to hunting by my father at the age of twelve in my home state, the Keystone state of Pennsylvania. In 2006 I harvested my first buck in the Northwoods of Minnesota while I was attending college. It was the Minnesota buck that is responsible for my passion towards the outdoors! Since moving back to Pennsylvania I have developed a true Love Hate relationship with the mountains of North Central Pennsylvania. My high school sweetheart, bride and life companion has been supportive and together we have three outdoor loving children: Madison, Brooklyn and our little dude, Asher. Our passion together goes like this, God first, family second, ministry third and then and only then comes the outdoors! We are living the blessed life and are intentionally raising our children with the outdoor experience.

I was born and raised in Central Wisconsin.  At a young age, my father introduced me to hunting and fishing and my mother taught me to love and respect the outdoors. My work as a Sr. Design Engineer has brought me to Minnesota, where I live with my lovely wife Kristin. I attribute many of my successful trips to my engineering mindset. Everything I do is methodically planned out and logged in lists and spreadsheets, as I believe there is no excuse for being unprepared. Hunting and fishing is not a hobby for me, it is a way of life that I truly cannot imagine living without. I also love cooking, especially wild game. I believe you should put just as much effort and care into preparing the meat as you did harvesting the animal. I have been self-filming and editing my hunts for 3 years now and cannot wait to be part of the Sons of Fall team.  The opportunity is a dream come true!

Brielle Bogdin and Jaren McCourt

We were raised in the same small town in Utah and started dating in high school with a total of 8 years together notched on our belt. Hunting and fishing were introduced to us beginning at the age of two for Jaren and eight for Brielle. We love to hunt big game and small game but favor elk and mule deer. Our weapons of choice vary throughout the seasons; we hunt with a compound bow, muzzleloader or rifle. We love the challenge of hunting in Utah and find most of our time together being spent hiking, hunting, scouting, fishing, shed hunting, guiding and camping. This isn't just a hobby for us, it's a huge part of out lives. We love the outdoors and everything it has to offer. Many memories have been made between us on the mountain and we can't wait to share them with everyone else.
